Viridis Energy Announces Appointment of Christopher Robertson as Chairman of the Board
December 10, 2012Viridis Energy Inc. ("Viridis" or the "Company") (TSXV: VRD), a “Cleantech” manufacturer and distributor of alternative energy providing waste biomass fuel to global residential and industrial markets, today announced that Christopher Robertson, the Company’s chief executive officer, has been appointed chairman of the Company’s board of directors. Mr. Robertson replaces John Campbell who resigned from the Company’s board to focus on personal business interests.
Commenting on the developments, Mr. Robertson said, “With the recent appointments of Noah Schankler and Joe Zappulla, we have rebuilt our board to consist of a diversified group of professionals that I believe will provide the leadership to guide the company to a profitable future.”
Mr. Robertson added, “The Company’s management team and its board of directors wish John Campbell success in his endeavors and thank him for his past service to Viridis.”
