Viridis Energy Inc. Completes Acquisition of Cypress Pacific Marketing Inc.
March 8, 2010Viridis Energy Inc. (TSXV:VRD) has completed its acquisition of Cypress Pacific Marketing Inc. and received final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. Pursuant to the acquisition, the company acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Cypress, in consideration of an aggregate total of 5.6 million common shares of the company, issued at 50 cents per share for an aggregate total value of $2.8-million. Haywood Securities Inc. was the sponsor of the company with respect to the acquisition. Trading of the company's common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange will resume at the opening of trading on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
